Carl Clark

Carl Clark is a partner in the firm and focuses on representing debtors and other parties in bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership, and workout matters. In addition, he is a Chapter 7 panel trustee for the District of Kansas.

He is Board Certified in both business and consumer bankruptcy law by the American Board of Certification, and he is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute. Mr. Clark has been recognized as Best of the Bar in bankruptcy matters by the Kansas City Business Journal and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer in the area of bankruptcy. In addition, he served as the vice president of the Kansas City Bankruptcy Bar Association and is a frequent speaker on bankruptcy topics. Mr. Clark received his undergraduate degree from Kansas State University and received his law degree from the University of Kansas.

Jeff Deines
Jeff Deines

Jeff Deines is a partner in the Firm and has been lead counsel in many large and complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases in Kansas and Missouri and is a published author and speaker on bankruptcy topics.

Certified in Business Bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification, he has been included on Kansas City Business Journal’s “Best of the Bar” list since 2010 and was recognized as a Kansas and Missouri “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers. He is the former President of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bankruptcy Bar Association.

Jeff received his undergraduate degree from The University of Kansas and his law degree from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles. While in law school, Jeff was a member of the Law Review and was on the Dean’s List.

Shane McCall
Shane McCall

Shane McCall has worked at the firm since the summer of 2009. Mr. McCall focuses on reorganizations, liquidations, receiverships, and other bankruptcy-related matters. He has worked on debtor and creditor issues throughout his career.

Mr. McCall has shepherded numerous chapter 11 clients to plan confirmation, while also assisting scores of individuals in receiving relief through successful chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcies. He also represents creditors in bankruptcy proceedings and in connection with receivership actions. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, cooking, and going for walks.
